Shipping & Returns Policy

Pre-Orders & Out of Stock Items

How Pre-Orders Work: All our beautiful mahjong sets are custom-made or produced in limited quantities. When you place a pre-order, you're securing your place in line for these special items!

  • Timeline: Pre-order items typically take 8-12 weeks to receive
  • Payment: You'll pay a deposit when placing your pre-order, with the balance due when your item is ready to ship
  • Updates: We'll keep you informed throughout the process and notify you immediately when your item arrives
  • No Cancellation Fees: You can cancel your pre-order anytime before final payment with no penalty


Out of Stock Orders Loved something that's currently out of stock? You can place a backorder using the same process as pre-orders. We'll notify you as soon as it's back in stock and ready for final payment.

Important Pre-Order Notes

  • Production timelines can occasionally change due to manufacturing factors beyond our control
  • We'll always communicate any delays as soon as we know about them
  • Your payment method on file will be charged for the balance when your item is ready to ship
  • Pre-orders and out-of-stock items follow the same return policy once received

Shipping Information

Free Shipping Thresholds

  • Retail Orders: Free shipping on all U.S. orders over $150
  • Orders below these thresholds will have a flat shipping fee added at checkout

Processing & Delivery Times

  • In-Stock Orders: Ship within 7-10 business days via USPS, FedEx, or UPS
  • Pre-Order/Backorder Items: Ship within 2-3 business days once item arrives and final payment is processed
  • Expedited Orders: Processed within 1 business day, delivered in 2 business days after shipping (in-stock items only)
  • Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day

Shipping Notifications: You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. Please only contact us at letsplay@mahjongsisterhood.com if your order is substantially delayed.

International Shipping: All delivery locations outside the United States will not receive free shipping. International shipping rates are determined at checkout, and customers are responsible for any customs duties or fees.

Important Notes

  • Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete to avoid delays
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses
  • During peak/holiday seasons, shipping may be slower than expected

Returns & Exchanges

Our Promise: We want you to love the items you've purchased! We offer a 15-day return policy from the date you receive your item.

Return Requirements: To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • In the same condition you received them
  • In original packaging with any tags attached
  • For tile sets: Shrink wrap must be unopened and intact
  • Accompanied by receipt, proof of purchase, or return slip


Return Process

  2. We'll send you a return shipping label and instructions
  3. Send items to: 5322 Miller Ave, Dallas, TX 75206

Important: Items sent without prior authorization will not be accepted

Return Fees: There will be a return shipping/restocking fee with a maximum of $15 (lower for some items).

Exchanges: We're happy to process exchanges for items that meet our return requirements. Your new item ships after we receive the original item. For fastest service, we recommend returning your item for a refund and placing a new order.

What We Cannot Accept

  • Sale items or gift cards
  • Items with opened shrink wrap (for tile sets)
  • Items without original packaging or tags
  • Items returned after 15 days
  • Pre-order deposits (once final payment is made, standard return policy applies)

Damaged or Incorrect Items: We photograph every order prior to shipment to ensure complete and quality fulfillment. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us right away at letsplay@mahjongsisterhood.com so we can make it right.

Refund Timeline: Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of approval status. Approved refunds are automatically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank to process the refund.
